Yale University Announces New Policy on Open Access to Digital Representations of Works in the Public Domain

May 11, 2011

Yale University announced on Tuesday that it had a new policy on open access to digital representations of works in the public domain from museum, library, and archive collections at Yale University.  This decision was based on a Memo on open access to digital representations of works in the public domain from museum, library, and archive collections at Yale University (5 May 2011).  Collections will be available through the respective websites of the libraries, archives, and museums, and through Discover Yale Digital Content - a newly announced service from ODAI.
